SilkRoadCalc is a free fan-made companion tool for a Roblox trading game. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site. We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking.
1. Functional cookie (session)
When you unlock premium access with a Discord-issued key, we set a single
functional cookie named srtc_access_token_v2. It is a
signed JWT (JSON Web Token) used strictly for session management - to
remember that your device is authorised so you are not asked for the key on every visit.
It is HttpOnly, expires after 30 days, and is never used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
2. Local storage
We store small preferences and session values in your browser's localStorage
(for example your character setup, layout choice, and an anonymous session id). This data
stays on your device, is used strictly to run the app, and is never sold or
shared. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
3. Device fingerprint (authentication & anti-fraud)
Premium keys are hardware-locked to prevent account sharing and fraud. To enforce this we generate a device fingerprint using FingerprintJS, hosted locally on our own domain. Because the library is self-hosted, your IP address is not sent to any third-party CDN. The fingerprint is used strictly for authentication and to prevent key sharing/fraud - never for advertising or behavioural tracking. On the unlock page we ask for your explicit consent before any fingerprinting takes place.
4. What we store on the server
For premium keys we store the key, the linked Discord ID, and the bound device fingerprint(s), so the key works only on your registered devices. We also keep basic, non-identifying session counts for online/usage stats. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not share this data with third parties.
5. No third-party tracking
SilkRoadCalc does not run third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking scripts, and does not sell or rent your data to anyone.
6. Your rights & contact
You can request deletion of your premium key binding (which removes the stored fingerprint link) or ask any privacy question via our Discord server. Clearing your browser storage removes the local data described above.
